I haven't heard or seen much about Mark Driscoll. He's just been one of those vague names hovering out there in famous-Christian-speaker-world. Recently a Facebook-friend got upset about something he said, which was a catylist to look him up.
So far in my research, I've watched one video: that's it. In it, Mr Driscoll explains the bare-bones of the gospel in just a few minutes. His explanation is concise, accurate and passionate; ergo, good. So, even if I later conclude that he's a heretic, a liar or a hypocrite on other grounds; it won't be because of this clip:
NB: I'm a little confused about the t-shirt. I'm not clear on exactly what the point of it is, but I've let it slide, with the benefit of the doubt going to the words that are said.

The man on the shirt is a gentile looking guy, certainly not jewish looking - where would you get that idea from?
@BW: Thanks for stopping by. I'd like to point out that I didn't say the man on the shirt was Jewish-looking or otherwise, just that I'm confused about it.
@Bernard: i dont understand either why Pastor Mark has an image of a guy who is obviously Jesus spinning vinyls... I was trying to help him out by suggesting the figure was a gentile. Like your blog man. btw B is for Benjamin and W is the surname of my mother - your sister.
I like the video; I also believe in Jesus:)
Hi! This video was taken from a series called "Vintage Jesus," in which Pastor Driscoll addressed a variety of false views many people of Jesus Christ. He defended His humanity, His sinless life, His Godhood, et cetera.
To demonstrate how images and ideas of Jesus have penetrated the culture without actually describing who He is, Mark wore a series of bizarre T-shirts.
Geeks Of Christ: thanks for your comment. Your explanation kind of makes sense!
